TRC has won "Speed is Life" award from Target corporation for its design of the Orlando SW Disney Target store in Orlando, Florida. TRC is one of the four nationwide structural consultants of the Fortune 50 company.

The Award was given for an accelerated construction document schedule. Construction Documents were completed to submit for permit in three weeks against the normal schedule of approximately 6-8 weeks.

Target had requested an accelerated schedule to eliminate approximately $ 1 million dollars in permitting fees.

John Roberts of the Brentwood office was the project manager. Others who worked on the project include Dr. Seshadri, Ray Alley, and Ed Bradley.

The Award was presented at Target's Real Estate/Construction Pyramid meeting dinner on March 19, 2007 and was accepted by Matt Trammell and Marcus Unterweger on behalf of TRC.

RSP Architects, Minneapolis, Minnasota, was the Architect for the Project.
