Washington Point Business Center
Phoenix, Arizona

TRC Worldwide Engineering, Inc. is providing structural engineering design and contract administration services on Phase 1 of a three –phase, Class A office park. Phase 1 includes a $15.2 million, 200,000 square foot, six-story office building and a $9 million, five-level, 850-space parking garage.

Key Structural Components
As a result of the building height limitations, a 10-inch thick, two-way flat plate post tension slab was used to allow greater ceiling heights and one full additional floor
The lateral system was chosen to be reinforced concrete shearwalls for their ability to decrease seismic forces and keep column sizes to a minimum
